The legal action against an employer for forgery of an employee signature
The employer has submitted a fake signature to MOHRE to modify the contract (temporary additional annex).
I, the employee, did not sign this application form. Could you advise what action we can take against the employer?

Kindly note that forging unofficial documents is penalized by UAE Penal Code in accordance with Articles 216 and 217 of the said code.
Further, using the forged unofficial document is penalized as well by the Penal Code.
However, a legal action might be taken by the employee by filing a criminal complaint before the Public Prosecution or the Police Department to initiate the investigation.
The Police Department or the Public Prosecution might assign the criminal complaint to the Forensic Department.
