Liability for bounced cheques in case of joint signatory authority
4
Q: I was a partner in a company with joint signing authority for the bank account. I sold my share and the memorandum of association changed. However, due to some reasons or busy schedule, I could not change my signing authority from the bank.
My partner issued me a letter that for all released cheques, he will be responsible. Now, in the current situation, some cheques are bounced and police called me.
Please advise, what should I do? Will this letter and change in memorandum protect me?
My partner is still accepting his liabilities for all bounced cheques but he has no money to settle, and I am stuck. Kindly advise.

Can partners jointly sign a security cheque?

1
Q: Dear Ibrahim,
I have an LLC company in Dubai. I have added another person as a partner. It is mentioned In the memorandum of association that we can "jointly and severally" open and close bank accounts in the name of the company and operate such bank accounts and sign cheques.
Does that mean we are authorized to sign on cheques jointly and singly?
I have signing authority in the bank. Now, he wants to take a business to the company. We both will share the loan. My questions are:
A) If I sign the security cheque and it will be bounced in the future, may I be liable for that loan or we both are liable?
B) Can he take a loan without my permission?
C) Can we both sign a security cheque? Is it possible?
I want the liability to be on both of us if we fail to repay the loan.
Please advise me!

Registering an execution case after winning a payment order 0
I need to register an execution case since I won a payment order (Amr Ada) Case.
A) Is there a special format to use when registering the execution case file? or can I type in my words in the online process for smart case registration?
B) What is the cost of the execution for the Amr Ada case? I need to claim that amount as part of my total, but I don't know how much this will cost me? Is it a fixed cost or is it a percentage of the executed amount?
C) The honorable court had earlier decided to give me a fee postponement of Amr Ada court fees since I am 80 years old. Then the respondent lost the Amr Ada lawsuit and he will have to pay the court fees.
Will I have to pay for the execution case filing? Or the letter I got for court fee postponement will apply to the execution case as well?
Thank you!

Filing a false case against an employee in order not to pay his dues 0
Sir,
I am working in Dubai as a sales representative with 1000 as basic salary in the contract. I submit my resignation on 15/09/2020 with 30 days notice period.
The company asked me to hand over the job on 01/10/2020. I handed over the company car, SIM, and laptop. On 11/10/2020, the company filed a case against me that I deleted all company emails.
They filed a case in labor court. They don't want to pay me September month salary + 6 years final settlement +1 year leave salary. Also, They don't want me to join a competitor company.
That's why they filed the case. I do not have money for food. My 4 member family in India depends only on my salary. I don't know what to do.
Please help me!

Possibility to terminate property purchase for failing to issue the SPA 0
Hello,
I have purchased an off-plan apartment in Dubai last year. I paid the deposit, OQOOD registration fees and have been paying all instalments on schedule toward’s the developer's Escrow Account.
However, the developer is delaying issuing the SPA and OQOOD until now with no valid reason, even though they had me sign the SPA from my side on the promise that they’ll sign it after me and attest it from DLD.
It’s been more than a year now, I’ve been asking for both the SPA & OQOOD or refund of my money, yet the developer simply replies with “it’s under process”.
I would prefer now to just terminate the agreement and get a full refund of my payments. is that possible?
