Dear Questioner

Please note that recording conversations whether through the phone call or during a meeting requires the knowledge and consent of the other party.

I do not recommend you to do so without getting the approval of the public prosecutor or the police department, after explaining your complaint or conflict with the person you wish to record the call with!

If you need further clarification please do not hesitate to contact me directly through ae@elnaggarlegal.com

Dear Ahmed,

Many thanks for your valuable advice.

What about if that conversation is between a company and a client?

Kindly advise when you feel free.

It really does not matter who are the parties of the conversation.

What matters is that the recording party MUST advise the recorded party of the recording. To give him the option to approve or to reject.
