Canceling an investor's visa while being the only investor and manager

I had a company in Hamriyah Freezone, but the company's license expired on May 2019, thereafter, I couldn't renew the licence due to insolvency.

My company was having only 1 visa (my investor's visa); there were no employees.

My investor's visa expired in Feb 2020. My questions are:

a) Can I cancel my visa?

b) Must I renew the licence? I can't do due to insolvency.

c) Can I cancel online/typing centre?

Dear client,

Good day!

You cannot cancel your visa without proceeding with the liquidation procedure.

Once we complete the liquidation procedure, then, on the basis of the procedure, you can proceed with the cancellation of the visa.

If you are an investor and manager of the company, it is difficult, but if you are only an investor of the company and you can bring in another investor or partner who can take over the responsibility, then it is possible.

For further assistance, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.

Thank you!
