Dependent's via cancellation while being abroad

Hello,

My husband and I left Dubai in April during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are now permanently in our home country in the UK. My husband is my sponsor. My husband's visa expires middle of October.

My husband's company needs to cancel his visa (he left the company amicably), but they say that they cannot cancel it until my husband cancels my visa, however - we are out of the country.

180 days fall a few days after the official expiration of my husband's visa. What should we do?

Dear questioner,

First of all, your husband has to cancel your visa, and further, he can proceed with the cancellation of his visa.

First, cancel the dependent visa. You can cancel the visa at GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs) with your EID and Passport.

If you have any queries, kindly contact us via phone or WhatsApp or email.

Thank You!

Thank you for your response!

We are both out of the UAE. The online services for the GDRFA do not work. Are you able to advise how he can cancel my visa from the UK?

Many thanks!
