Can you renew your visa before paying fines if you have a bounced cheque case?

Hi,

If there's a bounced cheque with a 70.000 amount, should I go first to pay the fine in the police station after can I ask clearance certificate from the bank?

And will I be able to renew my visa or first I have to pay a fine in police station and after start renewing my visa?

Hi,

You will not be able to renew your visa before fine payments. Additionally, the bank will not give you clearance before settling the cheque amount.

If you mean to say you are able to settle with the bank, in this case, yes, the bank can release the case and give you a clearance letter to be provided to the public prosecution to cancel the case.

If you are not in a position to settle now, you need to pay a fine and reach out to the bank to avoid further legal actions against you.
