Trade license and banking legality for any kind of trading activity

Hi Sudhanshu,

Hope you are well.

What are my rights for establishing an e-com business meant for trading outside the UAE.

1) Do I still need the UAE trade license?

2) Can I receive payments in the UAE banks through international online business since I live in the UAE and would be here for some more time?

Best regards,

A.

Hi A.,

In general, if you are providing any kind of service or trading in any product in any jurisdiction (country) you should have a proper license (trade license/certificate of incorporation).

If you are receiving payments from commercial activity, you will have to abide by tax laws of the respective country as well.

In order to pay taxes and have a company bank account, you need to have a valid business/license for such activity.

I hope that clarifies but please feel free to reach us directly in case of further clarifications required.

Thanks,

Sudhanshu Singh
