In case your file is still with the Police, after they will finalize their investigations, they will send the file to the public prosecutor for his final decision.

In case the file is with the public prosecutor, you have to wait for his decision. In case the prosecutor believes that there aren't enough proofs in order to issue his decision, he will return the file to the police to continue the investigations.

There is no time frame for this kind of case; it depends on the investigation process and the proofs that are submitted in the file.

It depends on the nature of the offense. Some offenses require in-depth and prolonged investigation and some are simple on the basis of facts and documents.

If the prosecutor needs you to give more statements after a change in any circumstances arising out of somebody else's statement, he can call you again. There is no time limit as such. After the full investigation is over, the file goes to the judge to issue a judgment.

A-- No, he will not give a judgment. your file will be transferred to the court for hearings.

2. How long does it take before they contact me again?

A- Well! That depends upon the available time. Because of COVID-19, all proceedings are delayed by at least 1 Month.

3. Will the prosecutor try to fix things between me and the accused?

A- That depends upon the facts of the case. In financial cases, he will try.

4- Basically, what happens next after the public prosecutor meeting?

A--After this, the judge will decide about the sentencing of the accused.
