The effect of an old TB scar on wife's residence visa issuance

Hi,

I am sponsoring my spouse and daughter for a UAE residence visa. I am here with a work permit and my spouse is currently here with a visit visa.

My wife has an old TB scar (18 years before) which is cured. Can this lead to any issue regarding visa approval for her?

Thanks and Regard,

Unfortunately, tuberculosis leaves a scar on the lung that appears in the x-ray examination.

Dear Sir,

If she still has the TB scar, this might affect the issuance of her UAE visa.

They will send her to do a few medical examinations. If, after all the medical examinations she will do, they reject her visa application, she will be deported and they will take her eyes scan.

In case you have medical reports showing that she is cured, you can show them to the laboratory and they will advise you if they will consider them or not.

Best Regards,
