Q: Hi Sir.
Hope you are doing well.
I came to Dubai on a visit visa in 2014. I got a job and the owner of the company asked me for money to issue the employment visa. I paid him the amount, but the employer didn't apply for my visa and went to his country.
I filed a case against him in the court, but he didn't come to the court after he returned to Dubai. The main problem was that I had given him my original passport, and that's why I didn't exit the country.
After 10 months, I went to Al Aweer jail and I took exit without paying overstay fine. I had given fingerprint and eye scan also. Now, I want to come back on partner visa and I want to know if I can come on that visa or not.
If you help me on this matter, I will be very thankful to you.

747
Q: Hi,
I had a visit visa (job seeker) and it expired before I get a job. So now I have an overstay fine and they have put an absconding case on me. I think it was from immigration.
Is there a way to remove the abscond (without me going to immigration) so I can get a new visa after taking care of the fines?

How to waive UAE overstay fine for brother imprisoned for driving without license?
1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I need legal advice!
I am from Pakistan. My brother was on a visit to the UAE for 2 months. During his stay, he was arrested by authorities for driving without a license. The authorities fined him for driving without a license.
His visit visa has expired. Now he is in prison and overstaying for more than a month. We are paying a fine of approximately 50 AED per day for each month, according to UAE law.
So the question is, how can we get rid of this fine, which is 1,500 AED per month?
This is an unbearable amount for us.
Please guide me in a legal way.
Thank you!

Options to remove Abu Dhabi tourist visa absconding fines?

3
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
What are alternative options for removing absconding fines incurred from an Abu Dhabi tourist visa, considering the current company charges 7000 dhs?
Additionally, with the removal of an arrest warrant and approval from a judge for visa renewal, can the visa still be renewed despite having a prior case?
The rental dispute case is still pending, but the arrest warrant has been removed, and the judge issued a letter for visa renewal.

UAE Amnesty Scheme 2024: What You Need to Know 16
The UAE attracts a large population of expatriates from around the world for business or leisure. It occurs sometimes that those expatriates violate the rules of their visas and incur overstay fines which accumulate the longer they stay beyond their visa's expiry date. This may result in travel restrictions, banning violators from entering the UAE for a certain period or lifetime. The UAE authorities have now announced a two-month scheme for violators to rectify their situations.

Non-payment of share value and claiming the shares back 0
My company is located in Dubai as an LLC. We have two shareholders,
1. UAE national shareholder with 95%
2. A foreign shareholder with 5%
The UAE national shareholder transferred this 5% shares to the foreign shareholder through a share sales agreement, which was notarized at the notary public in Dubai and submitted it to the DED to amend the trade license etc. This happened in 2014.
But till this date, the foreign shareholder did not pay the value of 5% shares to the UAE national shareholder or to the company.
Also, the foreign shareholder was not actively involved with the company's operation and as per Article 17 of the Commercial Companies Law:
"2. The partner may not contribute in work rendered unless he is a joint partner. The contribution of the partner may not consist of his having reputation or influence."
Under these circumstances, is it possible for the UAE national shareholder to request from the court to cancel the 5% shares of the foreign shareholder and transfer back to him?
