Overstaying on a tourist visa and the fines imposed

Would there be a possibility for a tourist visa holder who overstayed for 3 months to waive his penalty or at least be lessened?

Hi,

Upon the expiry of your visa, you are granted 30 days' grace period only if you are a resident. Since you mentioned that you are on a tourist visa, who has overstayed for 3 months, there is no grace period in your case.

In terms of waiving the penalty or lessening it, no such option exists. You are required to pay your overstay fines when you leave the UAE. Your charges will be as follows: AED 200 for the first day of overstay, followed by AED 100 each consecutive day.

Could you please give me some information on why you overstayed? We might be able to assist you in the process to clear your overstay fines and prevent you from possibly being blacklisted.

Please feel free to give me a call.
