Hello, This ultimately depends on the nature of the amnesty and the documents. The first step would be to take the documents issued by the Ruler’s Court to the relevant authorities, like immigration, to check if they have been updated accordingly. That is unless the Ruler’s Court stated that they already did that in their documents. In order to check with the relevant authorities, you should issue a power of attorney to someone in Dubai, who you trust, who can go and check on your behalf. They will be able to check the status of your immigration file, in light of the pardon. Generally speaking, if your file has been cleared, then you are free to come back to this country and conduct your affairs as usual, and therefore, you will not be arrested.
