Returning to home country with children without wife's approval

We are Muslims and I'm married 8 years ago and I have two children; a 5-year old daughter and a 2-year old son. We are still living together.

Due to my financial situation, I decided to go back to my home country but my wife's family is not allowing her to leave or take the children with me. Her family keeps on interfering in my family's life and turning her against me.

Going back to the country means I want to give my children a good education, a professional life, and a better future.

In this situation, what I can do?

I can't leave my family here and go without my children.

Who is the sponsor of the children's residencies?

I am the sponsor of my wife and children.

My wife and her family say that if I take the children with me, they will file a case against me and my brother who lives in Dubai too.

As a parent, you can submit your children's papers at a school in your home country.

Yes, I can but can I take my children with me?

What happens if I took them and my wife/her family filed a case against me?

You can cancel your wife's and children's residencies and present your children’s papers in schools as you are a natural guardian.
