Possibility of filing multiple cases for the same bounced cheque

I was issued a travel ban due to non-payment of my loan when I lost my job. I was able to clear the ban after paying the fine in Dubai Courts.

The collector called me and said that they will file another travel ban in a different emirate if I didn't settle my debt.

Is this possible?

Can the cheque be used multiple times to file another ban?

And if I have a travel ban in Abu Dhabi, wouldn't I be able to travel even if I am in Dubai?

Dear questioner,

A cheque can be used only once to file a criminal case. Still, the bank can file a civil case wherein a travel ban can be initiated in your name.

Further, the travel ban is for the whole emirates of UAE; not for a particular emirate.

Kindly contact us via phone for a detailed discussion or write us an email for further assistance.

A complaint cannot be lodged with the same cheque. But a civil lawsuit can be filed to recover the loan amount and impose a travel ban.

We can help you to know, just contact us via phone or email.

Hello there,

Yes, they can open a new file against you. Now they can open a civil case. And you will not be able to travel anywhere.

I suggest you have some consultancy on it.
