Status of the employee at the end of a limited labour contract

Dear Ma'am,

My limited contract expired on the 22nd of November 2017, and my visa will expire on the 20th of January 2018.

Is it possible for the employer to give me a non-renewal at this stage i.e. on 10th of January 2018?

They have not renewed my contract to date. Is it an offence from the employer to decide a non-renewal at this point?

Kindly share your opinion. Your suggestions are really appreciated as soon as possible.

Your relationship stems from the labour contract and not the visa date.

So, if the non-renewal information was not given before the 22nd of November 2017, it is automatically renewed on similar terms for a similar period.

You can file a case in labour court and claim 3 months compensation for termination of a limited contract.
