Transferring shares to a partner while being outside the UAE
I am a partner in an LLC company in the UAE. I am in India now and do not wish to continue association with the company there.
I have told my partner to take over the company and remove my name from the license, but my partner is insisting that I visit the UAE to transfer the business to his name.
Kindly advise!

It is true!
The transfer of shares requires you to sign the amendment of MOA through Notary Public personally or through Power of Attorney (POA), but you can issue us a POA to represent you in front of Notary Public from India to transfer the shares to the other partner and remove your name.

In the event you are unable to be physically present in the UAE to sign over documents related to the removal of yourself as a partner, you can appoint a legal service provider to represent you through a POA.
