Repercussions of leaving one GCC country to another with bounced cheques

Hi,

I need advice.

I was in Oman and wrote some cheques which were bounced. I exited the country properly after cancelling my work visa.

Now I want to travel to Qatar, so need to know whether I can travel safely or will be arrested at the airport!!

Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing well.

I will not be able to give you a very accurate answer because to provide you with it, I need more information which I guess you do not have.

In the beginning, to apply a ban or an order of arresting you it has to be based on a judgement from the court affirming that you are guilty.

So if there is no such judgement, there will not be such an order of arresting you according to the Treaty of cooperation between GCC.

Therefore, I suggest that you contact a lawyer in Oman to check if there are any procedures taken or judgment issued against you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me here for further enquires.

Kind regards,

Ahmed Saad Harb
