Checking a case filed against a person before returning to the UAE
I have been out of the UAE since ten months and will be going back at the beginning of Jan. However, I found out that I am wanted for a RERA civil case worth AED 23k.
My question is how can I find out the details of the company that has put the case to negotiate before I get there and see if I can get the case removed?
If not, what will happen when I come to the UAE? Will they take my passport and release me to handle the case or will I be jailed?

We need to check the status of the case in order to assist you in a better way.
There is a possibility that judgment is already issued against you since you were not here. The authorities will take necessary actions as per the judgment (if any).
Once we have the details of the case, we can also mediate on your behalf with the party who filed a case against you and will try to settle the dispute.
In order for us to retrieve the facts of the case, we will need to liaise with relevant departments and will require a power of attorney from your side authorising us to conduct the search.
For further assistance, you can reach us on our email or on our landline. Alternatively, you can provide us with your contact number to arrange a callback.
