Holding labour entitlements for losing the money of a client
I have been working in an organization for 29 years and have been giving them fairly good business with profit.
In 2018, one of my customers absconded with materials worth AED 500,000. I had collected cheques and all other documents from them.
I also lodged a police complaint. He could not be traced nor is our material returned.
Recently, I wanted to retire and go back home. But my employer refused to give my incentive since 2017 and my end of service benefits.
How do I deal with him?
Dear questioner,
The company can not put the liability of a client on you. You can raise a complaint with MOL for the same.
Kindly contact us by phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Dear Questioner,
This incident should not affect your end of service benefits. You can file a complaint against your employer at the Ministry of Labour.
Good Luck.
