Once the job offer is accepted, the employer proceeds with Phase I.

a) Initiating the visa application process with the ministry of labour; the fee is AED 300

b) Work permit fee = AED 1200 (This will increase according to the size of the company staff)

c) Deposit with the ministry of labour = AED 3000

d) Entry permit fee at immigration department = AED 500

Phase II medical and Emirates ID.

Once Phase I is complete, your details are locked (in the system) for two months i.e. the employer has two months to complete your Phase II employment process.

In the event you decide not to proceed (as you have another offer), that employer will intentionally complete the two months and let the application lapse naturally. Thus, blocking you for this period to apply elsewhere.

As soon as the visa holder enters the UAE:

a) Medical fitness test: AED 450

b) The signing of the English Arabic MOHRE employment contract

c) Emirates ID: AED 300

d) Visa stamping on the passport: AED 500

The employment process is complete.
