Will you be arrested in default of a credit card loan?
Hello sir,
Good day to you!
I have a 10K credit card debt that needs to be paid in full. I will be able to pay for it only by December. I will be traveling to my home country in November for 3 weeks.
Will I have a travel ban or an arrest for this debt?
I am very concerned!

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Thank you for reaching out to me on this.
I understand your situation and would like to advise that if you default in repayment of a loan for more than 2-3 months, then the bank bounced your security cheque (assuming you gave one. If no cheque is given then ignore the following) and filed a police case against you.
If there is a case filed, then you will face a travel ban and an arrest at the airport.
Ensure that there are no cases filed before you leave the UAE and when you enter the UAE.
You must keep in touch with bank officials and advise them about delays in making payments so that they do not take any coercive actions.
Regards,
Hari Wadhwana
