Paying a loan when arriving in the UAE and checking the immigration status
I am currently owing DU Mobile about 1700 AED, but I am outside the UAE.
I have received emails from them saying they will file a case against me if I don’t pay up. It has been over 8 months.
I want to pay when I arrive in the UAE in December but I am worried that there might be a police arrest, and I don’t want to go through that stress. What do I do?

Dear questioner,
If your plan is to repay Du when you arrive back in the UAE in December, then it is best to complete a travel ban and an arrest warrant check the day before traveling to verify your immigration status.
Otherwise, I can assist you with clearing your outstanding debt with Du before traveling and ensure your records are clear.
Please contact me via email to discuss further.
