Questions & Answers
Can a husband ask his wife to vacate the house before divorce?
Can my husband throw me out of the house?
My husband has asked us to separate. He gave me till the 31st of October to vacate the house. He threatened to put my things at the car park of our house if I refused to vacate by the stated date.
For the past 5 days, he has been sending a reminder every day to vacate the house. He has also canceled my visa under him on the 19th of October. We have 7 years old twin girls together.
He promised to allow me to have the children only if I can get at least a one-bedroom apartment by myself. My place of work has agreed to sponsor my Visa.
My questions are:
Does he have the right to throw me out of the house while we are still legally married?
I understand that he should be the one to provide accommodation, feeding, and other expenses. If he doesn't want us to live together, is this applicable in this situation?
I want to have my children with me, what are his responsibilities and supports towards us if I get them?

Dear Mam,
I understand your situation. I can assist you in this case and will fight for your rights before the appropriate forum.
Your husband doesn't have any right to throw you out of the house. He doesn't have any right to cancel your visa.
It is your husband's responsibility to support you and your children financially. He can't disobey his legal duties towards you.
Custody of the child will be with you and as a father of the children, he has all responsibilities to provide financial support to both of you.
Before it is too late, you need to file a case for your claims.
Please feel free to contact us via phone or email for further assistance.
Regards,
