Terminating an employee without notification while there are unpaid salaries
My employer terminated me at 5:30 on a Thursday before I leave at 6:00 PM for an argument I had with HR.
I passed the probation and they didn’t pay me for one month / 3 months and it’s an unlimited contract! I’m going to sue the company but want to know if this case will be taken seriously!
Note: the employer is a DIFC company.
Dear questioner,
As per UAE labor law 120 (9), if an employee insults the employer or the manager, during work hours, then he can be terminated immediately.
Kindly contact us via phone for a detailed discussion or write us an email for further assistance.

Dear questioner,
Good day to you!
I am sorry to hear about this unpleasant incident. Please note that every case in the courts of Dubai is taken seriously irrespective of the status of the parties.
As per the law and my understanding, a company may not be able to terminate an unlimited employment contract without serving one month's notice to the employee or without paying one month's salary in order to terminate an unlimited contract.
However, the employer may terminate the contract in case of extreme violations of the law and policies i.e using a fake identity, being found drunk at the workplace, the default of duties even after severe warning letters and investigations, or employee commits a mistake causing the employer a noticeable loss, etc.
In order to be able to advise you, we would need to have a look into the below-mentioned documents:
1) Employment contract.
2) Letter of confirmation of employment after probation.
3) Termination letter.
We may also need the brief facts behind your dismissal from your employment to be able to aid you in your lawsuit.
Kindly feel free to contact me via phone or email if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
