With regard to your question, whether you can leave the UAE to your country after you pay the fine for the second cheque, the beneficiary of a cheque has the right to file two cases, namely:

  • A criminal case, for which you have paid a fine;
  • A civil case, which the beneficiary "Landlord" may file to obtain his money.

Accordingly, the answer is yes. You may leave the UAE to your country. However, it is better to settle your debt with the landlord before you leave.

Meanwhile, the landlord may request from the judge of urgent matters to issue a ban against you.

Thus, after the payment of the fine, it is better to check your situation prior travelling to know if there's a ban or not.

Best regards,
