For emergency, contact abuse helpline ‘800111', a government-run shelter for women and children who have suffered domestic violence.

You may file a criminal case against physical assault if the medical report was prepared and you can also file for divorce to overcome from this situation and claim your rights.

Well, he says I make him feel small by how I talk to him and resorts to hitting me to shut me up.

He'd beaten me up in front of surveillance cameras where we stay on the 16th of August and beaten me up again yesterday morning before we went to work in front of our two-year-old son.

While he was hitting me I bit him in self-defence. He also kicks us out every time we have an argument and starts throwing my stuff out.

As I said earlier, you can file a case and take help from a legal adviser or call in the emergency helpline for help.

If you need any help, just feel free to contact us and most importantly go to the doctor to get the medical report to assure your point.

Don't worry, the UAE law in this regard is very strict so you get all your rights. But for that, you need to file a case against your husband or you can take legal advice from a lawyer about your next legal step.
