Checking a travel ban due to outstanding loan before entering the UAE

My friend has left the UAE in 2018 without closing his personal loan (28000 balance). He got an interview chance there and would like to go back.

He is ready to repay the amount once he gets the job. Is there any ban on him?

He needs to close one credit card payment also which is pending.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.

As your friend had a bank loan in the UAE and exited the country without clearing it, the bank would have bounced his security cheque and filed a police case in the UAE.

In view of the police case, your friend will have a travel ban and an arrest warrant against him.

It would not be advisable to travel to the UAE if there is a case and your friend should either resolve the police case before coming or engage the services of a lawyer to arrange for bail when your friend arrives in the UAE.

I can assist with the inspection of police records and advise on the case if any.

You can get in touch with me on email or phone for further clarification and assistance.

Regards,

Your friend needs to check before he comes to the UAE. He should inspect the case if he has it before he comes.
