Alcohol License

I am a resident of Dubai, as I don`t have an alcohol license I used to buy liquor (for personal consumption) in Ajman. Is this legal to transport it to my home in Dubai and consume it?

In my experience, I have not seen any law preventing a person from buying liquor from Ajman store as long as the normal conditions are fulfilled (age, drinking and driving, etc.). Just like the duty free.
