Claim for the end of service benefits upon termination

Hi Ma'am,

My company early terminated me and the notice finished on 5 June, but the employer delaying to pay the end of service benefits.

Can I file a case in the labour department and how long will it take to solve the issue because my visa is going to finish on 16th July?

Thanks

Dear Questioner,

Thanks for contacting me online.

As you asked, you can complain about the same to the Ministry of Labour through any of the Tasheel or Tawafuq and the labour ministry will notify the employer.

If the matter not settled there, you can approach the labour court with the support of the NOC from ministry.

The duration for the whole process depends on several factors like whether the employer appears there or not.

But the expiry of the visa will not be an issue as long as you have a case in the court and no overstay fine will be imposed on you.

Hope this will suffice your request.

Please feel free to contact me at 0556635526 or WhatsApp me at 0508575526 if you need any further guidance or explanation.

Regards,
