Settlement of credit card debts after leaving the UAE

I have an outstanding balance remaining on one credit card in the UAE.

Due to visa issues, I had to leave the UAE but I need to settle the card with a one-time settlement.

My actual outstanding is around 14000, but due to interests and charges, the amount has gone up to 50000.

Dear Questioner,

Thanks for writing to me.

From the above short description, I understand that you have got accumulated credit card debts in the UAE and you left the country without having it settled.

Are you looking to resettle in the UAE? In that case, you will have to settle this first before entering the country.

The bank who issued the credit card might have filed a criminal case against you. You will have to find it out first.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you need any assistance to resolve this issue.

Regards,
