Entry into the UAE after the ban period is over

Hi Mr Hari Wadhwana.

Greetings.

My Name is S. I want to ask a query about my brother's visit visa.

My brother came in 2007 from India on a visit visa but he did work without employment visa. After that, he left to India as per the UAE Law which is announced by the UAE Govt.

The law gives a limited time to leave the UAE for whoever worked without an employment visa. My brother also left the UAE in time without delay as per the UAE Law.

In the airport, they stamped as a 1-year ban on his passport. So again I am trying to apply to a visit visa after 12 years.

I want to know if he can come back on a visit or not.

Please advise me

Dear Mr Sudhakar,

Thank you for reaching out to me on this.

As you have mentioned, the ban was only for 1 year so I don't see any difficulty in he returning back to the country now since clearly, the ban period has expired.

You can apply for a fresh visit visa and if there is an issue, the visa will be rejected.

I trust you will find this helpful.

Regards,

Hari Wadhwana

Thank you very much for your Reply.

If it's rejected or there's a life ban, can we remove the life ban?

Because we recently contacted a travel agency to apply for a visit visa.

He applied for a visit visa, but after 3 days their system showed status "Required more documents".

After that we provided a full set of passport copies, then again after 2 days he said that our visit visa request was rejected.

Please, I want to know the actual problem. Our brother left the UAE without any violation as respect to the UAE Law & he wasn't involved in any crime.

But I am surprised at the same time our brother's friends also left the same time with the same previous as I mentioned, but they came again and they got visa!!

1) Is there any chance to do life since they stamp as "1 year"?

2) If it's a life ban, what is the solution to remove a life ban? How can we do it? What are the requirements?

3) Can we visit our Indian embassy to verify actual problem?

Looking for your positive reply.
