س. أ.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for reaching out to me on this.

Please confirm if you had provided any security cheques to the bank while taking the credit cards.

If yes, then the bank can bounce the said cheque and file a police case against you. If the case is filed in Dubai then you can pay a fine and clear the case.

If no cheque was given, then the bank can only file a civil case to claim its dues. There is no travel ban in a civil case and the court can order you to pay the full principal amount.

Upon clarification, I can advise you better on how to clear the debt and resolve the issue.

You can get in touch with me on 052-9495731 or email for further clarification and assistance.

Regards,

Hari Wadhwana

I did not give any security cheque to the bank against these two credit cards.

Please advise.

Already answered above.

Dear Sir

Do I have to pay the full principal amount including interest charges added by the bank and any other charges by the bank or only principal amount?

And do I have to pay the full amount in one time or there is an option I can request the court to pay in instalments to the bank if not able to pay the full amount?

Please reply

Dear Sir,

You can fight in court that the bank charges are illegal and unlawful and wait to see what the court orders. Cannot predict the judgement.

Yes, you may request the court to pay in instalments, again it is the court's discretion whether to accept or reject it.
