Q: I am working with one of the companies in DMCC- JLT and want to resign from it.
However, as per my colleagues who left the company earlier, they say I need to pay them 45 days' salary or need to work 45 days without salary.
Is it true, although nothing is mentioned in my contract?
I am working with the company for 9 months and successfully completed my probation period. Please advise, I want to leave at the earliest.

I have worked for a company for 2 years. We have two companies with different names one in Dubai & the other one is in Sharjah.
My first visa was in Dubai; after that, there was some financial problem in the Dubai company so they changed my second visa to the Sharjah company.
They have given me a gratuity of 21 days of the month, but now they are telling me it is a wrong calculation (1/3 of 21 days). But this case is applicable only if I resigned from the job.
I am not resigning, which means the company terminated me and changed to the Sharjah company.
Kindly provide some suggestion.

Good morning.
I just wanted to ask that I want to change my company for a certain reason and also it's been like only 7-8 months that I'm working here.
It's a limited contract for 2 years. Employers said if I resigned they will put a heavy penalty.
So am I allowed to leave or not?
Or how much should I pay them back?

Recently, I joined a company as a digital marketing executive. Now it is 1 month over and my visa is in process & my status changed to e-visa. I am in a limited contract and have a 6 month probation period.
But now I don't want to continue here because I am getting different works. It is not based on my carrier and my position. So I would like to resign from this company. Based on my offer letter, there is a 3-month notice.
Is it necessary to put 3 months' notice? Or is it possible to resign without notice?
My visa is not stamped yet and my medical is not over. Do I get any labor ban?
Please help me with this issue?

Should I pay 3 months' salary if I leave my job without notice to care for my newborn?

Q: Dear Lawyers,
I am leaving my job without a notice period because I have had a baby, and I am unable to leave him by himself at home.
My contract states:
Except as provided in clause 11.1, either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time by giving three (3) months' prior written notice, or payment in lieu of notice, to the other party. (Any period of leave, including school holidays, cannot be counted towards the notice period.)
Does this mean I need to pay my employer three months' salary, or is it not clearly stated enough, so I don't have to pay it back?

Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.

How to appeal the labor judgment if the court did not approve all my dues? 0
My employer has not paid my salary for 8.5 months. I went to the labor court, and was referred to Dubai Courts.
The judgment came and I did not receive the full claim including salaries and 3 months' compensation.
