Dear Questioner,

Thanks for writing to me.

Please note that if the ban is on medical grounds, it is not an employment ban. If your visa was rejected to medical reasons you will not be able to enter the UAE unless and until it is proved that the said disease is completely cured.

To lift such a ban, you may procure a fitness certificate from an approved doctor from your home country, notarized and attested from the relevant departments [Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE embassy in your home country].

The same has to be translated by an approved translator in the UAE and the same has to be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice.

After completing the above procedures, you may submit an application to lift the ban in the immigration department.

The immigration department may consider your application and approve a new visa.

Hope the above explanation is satisfactory.

Thank you.

Thank you for the response.

The visa stamping was rejected as they found a scar on the lungs for old TB which is non-reactive and totally cured.

He was asked to report in immigration for eye scan and permanent ban.

Now, he has an offer from a company based in Dubai and he is really looking forward to this opportunity.

Please advise if he should try. Is it advisable?

Regards

Z.

Dear Z.,

You may try your luck. However, this is under the complete discretion of the Immigration Department.
