Liability of company partners against the actions of a partner

Can I be held financially/legally liable for any actions of my ex-partner after exiting the business by share transfer?

It depends upon the nature of the company, nature and terms of withdrawal of partnership, nature of liability...etc.

Legally speaking, the principle of corporate veil saves its partners from independent liability unless otherwise saved depending upon the nature of the company.

Dear questioner,

After greetings, thanks for your question.

This depends on the articles of association and other factors. A lawyer would need to see the related documents to give a proper consultancy.

If you wish you may send us Whatsapp on 0565726262.

Regards,

Mohamed
