Claim against a beauty salon for negligence and damage
My wife recently had her nails done in Abu Dhabi.
During the so-called soaking off of the old nails which included using acetone & aluminium foil, after a time my wife noted her fingers were becoming sore.
After removing the foils, her fingertips were showing extensive burns. In 20 odd years, this has never happened. Can we claim for this type of negligence?
I have emailed the salon concerned, twice & messaged the owner, but have had no reply.
Please advise.
Thanks

Thanks for your query.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience with this salon.
The salon owed your wife a professional duty of care, which they have clearly breached.
Since they are not responding to your emails and messages, it is my advice that you send them a Legal Notice claiming damages.
If you would like to discuss the next steps and your claim further, please send an email to manal@awsuwaidi-advocates.com.
