How to handle family abusing

Hello,

I am a Bahraini 24 years old male working and earning of my own.

My father is a very difficult person. Whenever something goes wrong or if I say something which I don't like about him, he starts hitting me and abusing me.

He is my father, so I don't want to take any action or react but it is killing me from inside it is shattering my confidence and making me feel low all the time. What can I do?

Dear Sir,

The problem you are suffering is very critical. I can not advise you to take any legal action against your father, but I can advise you to avoid disagreement between you and him.

Always keep your relationship with him in a good way and Keep your-self away from the frictions that may cause any problems.

Remember that, God has advised us to do so.

He is a very tough person to handle. Sometimes I fear for my sisters' safety.

I also think there is maybe an undiagnosed mental illness, but I know he is my father and I respect him and help him financially to do everything in my power to keep him happy.

P.S. My mother left him and now I and my 2 younger sisters are living with the stepmom and him and life is very tough.

I will do anything in my power just to be in peace with my sisters.

Dear,

I have already given my advice, in case you would like to take further action you are free to do so.

Be patient and pray for him, may this leads you to the Jannah.

Please advise if there is a legal issue that you want us to consider, as this does not seem like a legal issue.
