Exemptions for nuclear industry under competition law

Thank you for reaching out to me on this.

In the UAE, the Federal Law No. 4 of 2012 deals with the Competition Law in UAE, under the said law there are certain sectors which are enlisted as exempted from the application of the law.

Exemptions are enlisted under the Annexure of the said law and unfortunately, Nuclear/ defence is not mentioned in it.

However, the committee formed under the said law is at the liberty to add more industries for exemption.
