Q: What happens if the employer failed to pay the pending salaries after the adjudication deadline?

Q: Dears, I have an ongoing case in the labour court for delayed salary & deduction amounting to AED 195K & expecting judgement from the court of first instance in Nov 2nd week. The issue is that our owner is already absconding & he has liquidated company assets but we still have incoming customer payments till mid of Dec which can cover my claim amount. But the problem is in execution, by the time execution file is opened (30 days appeal +15 days notification), they will take all money & even with a favourable verdict, I wouldn't be getting anything since they are planning to close the company. Can you please guide what can be done in this situation (any possibility of immediate account freeze before/upon judgement by a request to court...etc)?

Q: Dear Sir, I have a labour case. My company did not pay my 6 months' salaries and final settlement and it's already closed. My first judgment has to come on the 9th of August, and still, I am not getting anything. I got a new job offer from another company. Can I cancel my visa if my labour case is pending? Is this possible?

Q: I won a case. My final judgement came on 2 march and my employer has to pay me 20000. The judgement came in the absence of the employer and I filed the notification case on 19 March to notify the judgement of the court. But now, I am still waiting for filing the execution and after every 2 days, Alhadeed says me come after 2 days. I don't know why they are doing this. I want to close this matter as soon as possible. Kindly guide and advise me.

Q: Dear Sir/Ma'am, I have a labor case and the final judgment was declared in my favor. The settlement is not done yet. I opened an execution file through the typing center. As per the ministry, I had canceled my visa and work permit after getting the judgment. I need your advice as I don't know the further procedures and how long I have to wait to get the settlement. I'm in a grace period now and it will expire next week. From the typing center, they asked me to call the Tableegh center to get the notification. I don't know what procedures are going on. How long I have to wait to get the settlement? I know that overstaying will be fined. Do I need to exit or renew my visa? I'm jobless now. Why they are telling me to call Tableegh center? Why it is getting delayed if the judgment is already declared? The company is still opened. They can pay for my settlement. To whom I approach to help me to get the settlement asap? Q: Hello, I and four others filed a labor complaint due to unlawful termination against our former company last year. We each got a favorable result/judgment earlier this year and our cases moved to the execution phase. Each of us has a claim of below AED20k. It is our understanding that any claim below AED20k can't be appealed. However, our former company filed a labor appeal against each of us. How come they were able to do that? Also, we were just informed that the execution for our cases stopped due to the labor appeal. We were given the option of filing a legal memorandum. What is it? And what would it do for our cases? Our former company is in operations and hiring again. How come? How many times do we have to file for blocks on trade license, etc.?

Q: I have won a labor case against my company in the appeal court for non-payment of dues. I have also filed for execution. Can I please get some clarity on what happens once the execution is filed? It has been more than 3 weeks since it’s filed. I was told that I can file for the arrest of the manager now. However, I’m not clear on what happens next. Highly appreciate a response.
