Q: I have a personal loan with a bank amounting to approx. 180000 (Principal) post deduction from my end of service benefits. I was terminated from work on 10 Sept 2018.
Right now I am in India. My first EMI got bounced on Feb 2019. Please help me know what is the maximum punishment by the court in such a case. As of now, I am jobless.
If I come to Dubai to search for work, will there be a travel ban to exit from the UAE?
How can I extend my stay in Dubai as I will enter the UAE on a visit visa?
Can a settlement be through the insurance company as I was terminated by the company?
As of now, there's almost no chance to get any work in the UAE. Hence I am bankrupt.
What I can do in such a case?
Will I be able to work in the UAE and get a work visa if a case is registered?

Closing a case to avoid unnecessary interrogation when traveling

2
Q: I had a case in Sharjah in 1998. I served 3 months imprisonment and was deported.
I came back after 1 year to Dubai and worked for 6 years and exited Dubai. I came to Dubai 1 year ago and I was held in Dubai airport immigration for a while mentioning that the Sharjah case file is not closed.
They told me that before next time I come to the UAE, I should close the file because it will cause unnecessary interrogation. Now I want to come to Dubai by this weekend, I would require the assistance of a law firm to close the file and remove it from the system.
Please reply!

Will I face any issues while entering the UAE if I had a rent case and it was cleared?

0
Q: Hello,
I had a financial criminal case registered against me due to the non-payment of rent to the landlord.
I cleared all the outstanding dues levied on me by RDC in December-2022. The case was then closed by RDC.
I now intend to visit the UAE, so will my case impact my visit visa, even if it has been settled and resolved?

View allI secured a mortgage from the bank and the broker kept delaying until the MOU expired. What to do? 0
Hi,
I need some guidance regarding a property transaction that is not progressing as expected.
My broker initiated a manual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between me (the Buyer) and the Seller, with an expiry date of 01/02/2025. Within this period, I successfully arranged the bank mortgage, property evaluation, and NOC.
However, the broker started giving excuses, such as the seller being hospitalized. Later, the broker attempted to arrange a Power of Attorney (POA).
However, after that, they started ignoring my messages and calls. It now seems like they no longer intend to proceed with me, and the MOU has already expired.
Meanwhile, my bank EMI has already started, and I have paid two monthly installments. The broker is still unresponsive. I have raised multiple complaints through DLD RVS against the broker, but the response has been very slow and unsatisfactory.
I’m feeling stuck and financially burdened.
Please advise

What can I do with the contractor I paid to build my house and disappeared before completion? 0
Hey,
I'm building my house in Dubai, and it was going well.
I gave the contractor 420k as a first payment, and we both agreed that the rest would be in installments. Just two months ago, the contractor went off the grid, and I can't find him.
All I have is a security cheque that bounced back when I went to the bank, as the signature doesn't match what's in the file.
However, I learnt that he does have money, but not the amount that's in the cheque.
What should I do now to get my money back?
I need advice.
