Chahid El Hachem

Chahid El Hachem is a Partner at Hachem Law Firm. He specializes in corporate law and taxation. He has handled major mergers and acquisitions in countries in the Middle East and the Arab Gulf as well as in Asia and Africa (Nigeria, Congo, Singapore, Afghanistan). He advises clients on all forms of leveraged M&A and restructuring matters. He has broad experience in issues arising from antitrust and competition regulation. Mr El Hachem worked at the legal department of a top ten Lebanese Bank during which time he performed the function of a secretary of the bank's board of directors and worked on several banking contracts concerning credits, securities trading, fiduciary agreements, and the establishment of funds. He also gave numerous lectures related to the taxation laws in Lebanon. Mr Chahid El Hachem practices law in Arabic, French and English He is a member the Beirut Bar Association and was certified by the Bar Association for achieving the highest testing score among the candidates taking the Beirut Bar exam.
