Hassan Saeed

Hassan Saeed Abaragh has over 20 years of experience in international business law and dispute resolution in France, Japan, UAE and GCC countries. In 2013, he co-founded the International Consultant Law Office (ICLO), a leading UAE boutique law firm in arbitration and international business law. His principal place of practice is Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates but he also has extensive experience in advising and assisting clients throughout the EEC, East Asia, GCC and MENA Region. He is advising many international clients regarding their projects in UAE and GCC region and is also the counsel of numerous local clients concerning their expansion abroad. Hassan has an extensive experience in Civil Law, Common Law and Japanese Law. His working languages are English, French and Arabic and he has a solid knowledge of Italian and basic knowledge of Japanese and Spanish. He works and has worked jointly with many international law firms on projects in or related to GCC/MENA Region. Hassan sits also as an arbitrator and appears as counsel and co-counsel in national, regional and international arbitrations. He is also actively involved in the development of arbitration’s practice in the UAE and MENA region. His practice focuses primarily on Arbitration, Media, Construction, Oil and Gas, intellectual property, Corporate and Commercial Litigation. Hassan was involved in drafting and reviewing many local and federal regulations in UAE. He set a leading legal compliance policy recently implemented in UAE. Hassan has published a number of articles and co-launched the first “UAE Arbitration Yearbook” edited by the “International Consultant Law Office” (ICLO).
