Amer Al Marzooqi

Amer is the founder of Amer Al Marzooqi Advocates & Legal Consultants and the managing partner of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice. Amer graduated at the top of his class at the UAE University College of Law and previously served with the Federal Public Prosecution Department. Prior to founding the firm, Amer worked as a litigator for a number of leading law firms in the UAE. Amer is a Supreme Court registered attorney who is licensed to represent clients before all courts in the UAE (including the Dubai Courts and Abu Dhabi Courts) and has rights of audience in courts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries including Saudi Arabia. Amer specializes in civil, commercial and criminal litigation and has extensive experience in a variety of areas including handling high-level commercial disputes on behalf of leading UAE organizations and multinational firms operating in the GCC, representing clients in high profile civil lawsuits, handling complex criminal matters and dealing with governmental and regulatory matters. Amer is also involved in alternative dispute resolution work in his capacity as both a counsel and an arbitrator. Amer also advises clients on a variety of other matters including general transactional work, banking and finance, employment and labour relations, and real estate issues.
