Q: Hello Sir, I have received pre-approval for a Golden Visa and have the FIT certificate after completing the medical tests. I am currently an employee of a company based in the JAFZA Free Zone. When I requested JAFZA to cancel my visa and change it to a Golden Visa, they said they needed the final settlement calculations to proceed. However, I do not want to cancel my employment or work permit; I only want to change my visa from JAFZA to a Golden Visa.

I have a tenancy contract signed by both the landlord and me; however, Ejari will take some time to be processed. I understand that, as per the community rules, access cards for community facilities (such as the pool, gym, etc.), along with the parking access card, will be deactivated until I get Ejari. However, is this legal? Since I have paid the rent and have a signed tenancy contract, can they do this? My questions: 1. Does the community have the right to deny me access to parking and facilities if I have a valid tenancy contract but no Ejari? 2. If they have the right, then that`s okay. Q: Hello, I`ve been working in the company for the past 18 months, and I have submitted my resignation after receiving a good offer from another employer. My labor card is showing as expired in MOHRE (it seems the PRO didn’t process it properly at the time of visa stamping for the two-year labor card). Meanwhile, my Emirates ID is valid and active.
