I sent my tenant and eviction notice but the date for the tenancy contract in Arabic was wrong. What to do?
Q: I sent a legal notice to my tenant through Dubai court for eviction. But the dates for the tenancy contract in the Arabic portion are wrong. The dates in English are correct. The notice was sent on 13th June. What do you think should be done now? Do I need to send it again or the judge will consider it?+2

Should I file an appeal in family court to cancel maintenance if my ex-wife got job?
Q: The court judgment issued yesterday rejected the divorce case filed by my wife and ordered me to pay her AED 2000 monthly as marital support as she is living separately. Additionally, I have filed a restitution case against her to return home, which will begin next week. Should I file an appeal in court to cancel this monthly amount or wait until the restitution case ruling is finalized? Please note the following: 1. My wife left our marital home and started living in a non-mehram’s home. She is now living separately with our 8-year-old daughter. 2. She is currently employed and started working after leaving the marital home (she was not employed before leaving home).

What can happen to you in Dubai if you get drunk and get in a fight with somebody?
Q: My friend got arrested by police at a public park. He was drunk and started a fight over there and they signed him a warning letter and left him. That day itself he got a message from Dubai police "Thank you for using Dubai Police services, the criminal case has been successfully registered. Ref........" Is it a problem for him? Kindly reply.

Can I put a travel ban on someone who owes us less than 10,000 AED?

How can I check the reason for immigration ban and travel home if I never had a legal case?
Q: Hi, I planned to travel back to my home country and when I reached the airport, the immigration told me I had a ban. However, I do not have any legal case or any kind of loan, and I have never been involved in such issues. I tried 4 times and every time they said no, you can not travel, your name is banned in our immigration portal. I visited all departments, CID, Court, and Immigration and all gave me clearance certificates however still the issue is there. Can someone please help me?+2

How to remove the absconding status placed by the visit visa agent after getting a job offer?
Q: Hello Sir/Madam, One of my friends came to the UAE on a Sharjah visit visa and got a job here. The employer applied for their employment visa and they received acceptance and an entry permit until 16th May. However, before changing his status from visiting to employment, the visit visa agent put an absconding status on him. Now he`s being blackmailed and demanded 7000 AED to remove the absconding status, and he also faces an overstay fine of 2300 AED. Please suggest how we can deal with this matter with lesser fines, remove the absconding status, and get the employment visa. Thank you!
