What does the new law for Emirati employees say about the pension contributions?
Q: The monthly contribution of the insured is 26 percent of the pensionable salary. The insured employee pays 11 percent and the employer pays 15 percent. For insured citizens working in the private sector, the government pays 2.5 percent on behalf of the employer, if they receive pensionable salaries less than AED 20,000. This initiative by the government is aimed at promoting the employment of UAE citizens in the private sector. Is this under the new law for new Emirati employees? 11% salary deduction, 12.5% for employers, and 2.5 % government pay. Please enlighten me.

Can a collection agency file a case against a debtor in home country on behlaf of a UAE bank?
Q: Dear Lawyers, I`m seeking your valuable advice as per the UAE Law for the below inquiry. One of my close friends had taken a personal loan of AED 250k in the UAE and was paying EMI amounts regularly. Later, he was terminated by his company due to some issues and returned to his home country. A debt collection agency contacts him every day and gives more threats even though he has agreed to pay back the amounts after getting a new job. It has been 1 year and until now he did not get any good job and is unable to pay back the amount. However, the debt collection agency contacts him every day at least 3 times and threatens him with a criminal case against him, and that they will send him to jail and many more things. Now the inquiry is generally, if anyone is unable to pay back the outstanding EMI loan amount due to job loss, can the debt collection agency file a case against him or an arrest warrant, etc in their home country? Can we make a case against the debt collection agency for their outrageous behavior?

Can the landlord evict the buyer of a business from the office if he was not informed of the sale?
Q: Hi, My friend purchased a business from someone this year. The seller later wrote to the landlord of the office that she was no longer the owner of the business and that she would not continue to be the tenant. She gave that in writing. After this, a real estate agent mailed my friend that since the business was sold without getting approval from the landlord who wants to sell it, hence, they want to cancel Ejari or vacate upon the expiry of Ejari which is due 40 days from now. So my friend who had no RERA experience gave the real estate agent a letter in the name of the landlord that they would vacate it after Ejari. But now they r not getting the office of their needs immediately and Landlord is not ready to extend even one hour extra. What can he do now in Ejari? There is a clause that rental rights cannot be transferred. Please note that Ejari is in the name of Business and not an individual. 1- Should they ask for legal notice? 2- Can he evict them due to the letter? Please advise how to extend it?2024/12/20

I`m just asking: is there a possibility that the court transferred the execution amount by mistake, or that Al Adheed entered a different IBAN for my case? I finished all execution steps. How to prevent the employer from lifting travel ban until paying my dues?
Q: My labor implementation case is currently in progress. Despite taking several steps, such as inquiring about the bank account and blocking the traffic file, my employer has not responded and disregarded the court`s decision. As a result, I requested a travel ban, and the court accepted my request. Now, the employer is actively working to lift the travel ban. He has submitted six requests to the court for its cancellation, arguing that he is a local, the company is an LLC, and he comes from a reputed family. He also stated that the highest court had declared the travel ban to be a violation of human rights and that the non-payment was due to the company’s financial losses, not the manager’s fault. However, the court rejected his request. The employer has now filed a grievance with the Execution Circuit for the Court Head. Could you advise me if there is anything I need to do?
