How can I confirm my deportation removal approval and ensure smooth re-entry?
Q: Hello, Firstly, thanks to the legal experts here whose advice and insights were very helpful to me in the recent past. My mercy petition to remove deportation has been approved, Alhamdulillah. However, I did not receive any SMS. When I called the Dubai Public Prosecution helpline, the person informed me by checking their system that this was approved in January 2024. But my lawyers kept telling me there was no update all this time. I want to double-check if the approval is final and official, and also understand what other official steps I need to take before I can legally enter the UAE again without any issues at the airport/immigration. Should there be any official documents stating the removal of deportation? If yes, how can I obtain them? Thanks!

Q: Hi, I have leased out a shop in Dubai, but due to huge financial losses and my husband`s job loss, I can`t afford to pay the rent. Can I close my UAE fixed deposit remotely with a POA if I can't travel?
Q: Hello, I am outside the UAE and canceled my UAE residency 2 years ago. I have an ENBD account with a fixed deposit of 10,000 AED and a credit card linked to that fixed deposit. Both were suspended a few months ago due to not having residency in the UAE. I want to close the fixed deposit because I need the money now, but I cannot travel to the UAE at the moment. If I give someone (or a lawyer) power of attorney, can they go to the bank branch and close the fixed deposit for me? I have no cases against me, no outstanding loans, and the credit card balance is fully paid. The bank informed me that I must first close the credit card, then wait 45 days before closing the fixed deposit in person at the branch. However, I cannot go to the UAE for the next 6 months. How much would the process cost if I do a POA and hire a lawyer?+3

I am a tenant of [----] and one day, a member of an inspection team visited my apartment, my friend was there and they accused me of giving the apartment on sublease. Q: The monthly contribution of the insured is 26 percent of the pensionable salary. The insured employee pays 11 percent and the employer pays 15 percent. For insured citizens working in the private sector, the government pays 2.5 percent on behalf of the employer, if they receive pensionable salaries less than AED 20,000.
