Q: Hello, My husband and I are married and have a 6-year-old child. Due to ongoing disputes, he is demanding that I get a separate device and SIM card for our child so that he and his family can contact the child without using my number. He has also instructed his family to block me and communicate only through a separate number, claiming that I do not facilitate enough communication with them. I have never prevented anyone from contacting our child, and I will still be the one managing the device and calls. Does he have the right to impose this unreasonable demand on me? If I comply, could this set a legal precedent that might impact my parental rights in the future?

How can we prevent blocking accounts and assets in a cheque execution case against our company?
Q: Greetings!! We have a cheque execution case. The bank applied for execution to block the company account and the vehicles claiming the wrong amount. The court also approved this request and sent it to the central bank to impound the vehicle. We had already paid over 50% of the claimed amount and also requested the balance payment in installments a couple of weeks ago once the claimed amount was amended in the court system. The installment request is yet to be approved, however, they have proceeded with the execution. This is very concerning. How long does it take to block the accounts? What are the repercussions of the block? Kindly please advise if there are any other options available to avoid blocking the accounts and impounding the vehicle. Thank you

Can a debt recovery agency in home country legally force repayment of a loan owed in the UAE?
Q: Hello, My friend took a loan of 100,000 Dirhams from a finance company in the UAE and repaid almost half through installments. However, after losing his job, he was unable to continue payments. The finance company then deposited his guarantee cheque, which bounced. This happened three years ago. Recently, the finance company has engaged a debt recovery agency in Pakistan to recover the remaining amount. My question is: Does the debt recovery agency in Pakistan have the legal authority to force my friend to repay the debt?

Q: What happens if you leave the UAE with an unpaid personal loan of around AED 180,000 and go to your home country? Or what if you go to court or the bank and tell them you lost all the money in [stock market]? What will be the process or which is the best way to come out of this? My current salary is 6000 and after deducting home rent and transportation which are 4000, I hope it will increase by 2000 in Sep. so my salary will be around 8000 in Sept 2025. How do I handle a landlord’s case over an unfair rent increase and security deposit?
Q: Hello, My landlord and I are having a problem with a rent increase. The landlord gave me a rent increase notice 90 days ago, which was higher than the rental index, and he demanded a 10% extra security deposit which I rejected. He also tried to force me to leave the house, but I have no proof of this. I went to the RDC office and filed a complaint, after which I received a letter from the RDC stating that my rent would remain the same. However, the landlord rejected the application and said I could only renew the lease with a 10% increase, a 10% security deposit, and four cheques, which I also rejected. Now, he has filed a case against me, and the hearing is in February. Kindly advise me!

Q: Is it advisable to submit a voice record of a minor child (8 years old) and father`s conversion as evidence to the court which provides details of the events and how her mother is influencing her or couching regards to child custody case and asking her to ditch her father? Q: Hi, I am a driver. One of my friends asked me to drive a rental car. I picked up a passenger from the airport, but the RTA caught me with the passenger and fined me 5000 AED. Q: By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing.
