Recovering the unpaid price of items delivered over a year ago
Q: Dear Sirs, I have a Reseller Contract which was signed between us and another party for the sale of 10000 units of Terminal Stations. The final supply was to be done to the India Telecom over a 5-year period at 2,200 units per year, based on a purchase contract signed between us and another company. Based on this agreement, we placed an order for 2200 units at a value of AED12,273,400 (Twelve million two hundred seventy-three thousand four hundred). Based on the purchase order, the other party made a payment of 15% as a deposit and we finalized and handed over, but they didn’t pay since one year. استعادة المبلغ المدفوع من متعهد بسبب تأخر مشروع
س: قمت بحجز وحدة استوديو لم تُبن بعد بمشروع رويال استات بمجمع دبي للاستثمار. وقد أرسل لي المتعهد العقد لتوقيعه، فوقعته وأرسلته إلى عنوان الشركة. أتعامل مع شركة تكستشر بروبرتي بدبي، وقمت بتحويل 10% من المبلغ لحجز الوحدة في يونيو 2015، ودفعت أكثر من 30% من ثمنها حتى ديسمبر 2016. توقفت عن دفع الأقساط عندما رأيت تقرير البناء على موقع دائرة الأراضي والأملاك فوجدت أن الشركة لم تقم بوضع لبنة واحدة لبناءالوحدة، ولم يعطني المتعهد عقدًا رسميًا. وحتى الآن لم يتم بناء أي شيء وفقًا للتقرير للمشروع الذي يحمل رقم 1514. أفكر في المطالبة باستعادة المبلغ. السعر الإجمالي للاستوديو: 33000 درهم، تدفع كالتالي: 10%، 36 قسط متساو خلال التشييد، ثم 20% وقت التسليم، 18 قسط متساو بعد التسليم. قمت بتسديد 10% ثم 18 قسط من أصل 36 قسط خلال مرحلة التشييد وفقًا للعقد. المبلغ الكلي: 109,973,94 درهم. المدفوع: 109,973,00 درهم. ما هي احتمالية استرجاع المبلغ من المتعهد؟ وكم ستتكلف هذه العملية؟ أسئلة وأجوبة

What to do if you have credit card debts
Q: Hi, I am staying in Abu Dhabi with my husband & 7 years old daughter. My husband was working in a big construction company from the year 1996. In October 2015, he got terminated due to which he went in depression. He got another job but due to depression, he was not going to work regularly. The company terminated him. He doesn`t have a job for 2 months & he is not in the position to look for the job as he has depression again. He was having 3 credit cards. During his first job, he paid regularly without any delays. But after this new job, he didn`t pay on time & even for 2 cards we were unable to pay for around 1 year. For the third card after checking with the bank, we had made installments but now for past 3 months, we didn`t pay for it. I really don`t know what to do. I am also working but my salary is good enough for the rent only. Nowadays, our friends are helping us for the daily needs even. Consequences of filing a criminal case against a debtor by the bank
Q: Hi, I have just found out I have a police case filed by my bank on a credit card payment. I have a credit card with 25k limit and could not do minimum payments for 1 year (due to job loss), nevertheless, the bank filed a case against me for 190k. I do not understand on what ground and would like to know what to do. As well, how can I find out if I have a travel ban as I would rather try and solve the situation remotely from home than be concerned that I will be jailed here? Issue with rental property
Q: I left my room 9 months ago and handed over the key to real estate agency. My stay period was only 2 months and 13 days. Now real estate agency is calling me and saying that I have to pay more money, otherwise, they will go to court... Q: I was working for Etihad Airways as cabin crew. I got fired last March so I couldn`t pay my loan to the bank. I tried to find a job but I was not lucky. However, when I came back home, a hotel in Dubai sent me an offer letter. But the bank sent me a notice about legal action. س: عزيزي السيد / خالد، لقد كنت أعمل وأعيش في الإمارات العربية المتحدة منذ 10 سنوات وكنت مديونًا ببعض بطاقات الائتمان وبقرض. جئت إلى باكستان في العام الماضي ولم أعد، حيث تم إنهاء عقد عملي خلال عطلتي. بدأت الآن في تسوية مع البنوك وحصلت على خصم جيد ووافقت على التسوية. تبقت بعض القضايا القليلة والتي أخطط لدفع الغرامات فيها في المحكمة. قضيتين من تلك القضايا حكم فيها بالسجن، حكم بالسجن لمدة شهر في قضية مستحقات بطاقة ائتمان بقيمة 16000 درهم إماراتي، والسجن لمدة شهرين في قضية أخرى عن مستحقات بطاقة ائتمان أيضًا بقيمة 31000 درهم إماراتي. برجاء النصح، هل يمكن أن يتم تبديل الحكم إلى غرامات أيضًا؟ ما الذي ينبغي علي فعله في هذا الموقف حيث أنني خارج الإمارات وعلي حكم بالسجن فيها؟ شكرًا لك. أسئلة وأجوبة
