Q: I was served an eviction notice in November 2023. The contract terminates in August 2024. Do I need to sign a new contract for 3 months or will it automatically renew until November 2024? Do I have to pay the agent again for this contract?

Given the expired lease and invalid eviction notice, can I stay and continue to pay rent?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My landlord gave me notice on plain paper last year when the lease was renewed. He wrote two reasons for eviction: one that he may sell the property and the other that he may move in. The eviction letter was signed by him only, but the property has two owners (husband and wife). This year, when he asked me to vacate the property, I informed him that, according to the RDC, the notice needs to be from a notary public or sent via registered mail. I then submitted an Offer and Deposit with the RDC, but the landlord didn`t respond. The lease expired on May 10th. The landlord hasn`t followed up with anything so far. According to RERA, the rental contract is automatically renewed unless terminated by the courts (for non-payment, eviction, etc.). What course of action should I take now? Should I send an email to the landlord with the cheques, mentioning they are ready since I already submitted the Offer and Deposit, or should I file a case? Or should I wait for the landlord to approach me or file a case?+2

Q: Good day. My husband left me and my kids. He is British. I’m Asian. He is still in Dubai. I asked him to put in writing the financial support that we would get without divorce as the solution. What document should I process? Also, my kids are British. Is it possible to get my UK visa through them? Can the employer ask employees to work from home of weekends without paying overtime?
Q: We are engineers working for a company doing technical support for customers. They were asking us before to work on weekends on an on-call basis & we were given compensation even if there were calls or no calls. For the last 4 or 5 years, the new manager removed the compensation if there were no calls on weekends despite us restricting our time at home or not going far or instead enjoying the weekends with personal or family matters.
